Pros

Benefits and a paycheck was why I showed up everyday and worked so hard. I received awards every quarter and AE appraisals every year. Did it matter to IBC? Uh ...nope.

Cons

Referring to their employees as "bodies" and layoffs as "trimming fat".

Pros

Benefits, Associates. I don't have to many pros about the company. The call center seems to be separate from the rest of the company

Cons

Micro Management. Upper Management don't appreciate knowledge of their Associates.. No room for advancement. Dead end position.. High turnover with Management and Associates. Busy not enough Reps. Unrealistic metics.

Pros

The benefits of the best part of this position medical Vision Dental extended vacation life insurance the American dream and overtime Great coworkers

Cons

Timed to go to the bathroom Needlessly shortened lunches Overworked underpaid barly trained I thought this would be a great company it's a big name everyone knows Blue Cross maybe it is but not in a call center position this is not even a foot in the door this is the foot into the sewer the company is polluted with nepotism and favoritism the position is set up to fail so that you won't be able to get out to a better position but not be bad enough to be fired but instead halfway trained to do other positions and have it all thrown on you and you are still held accountable no raises for extra work frequent layoffs so work is pushed on you high stress anxiety all while servicing people who are forced to buy a product they don't understand. I could go on for days about how terrible this company is just please unless you hit absolute rock bottom and you need something go somewhere else go to another Insurance Company I would only recommend working for this company if you have FMLA or you have the ability to take multiple days off because by God you will need to for your own Mental Health slavery cut lunches terrible management the whole operations department is a complete mess three companies combined into one improper training information is scarce hard to obtain sometimes clear is simple contradicting convoluted no straight answer people who have never done your job design it this is setting the world back 300 years.
