Pros

-Amazing response to the pandemic. Leader in sending employees home and keeping us updated on all fronts. Organization seems to be trending to the idea of 'work where you're most comfortable' as a result. -Culture is great things are being done to make it continuous. Remember that culture in healthcare is tricky with the vast majority of employees being patient-facing.

Cons

-Year over year compensation is very rough. It's no secret the pandemic took its toll on businesses, but to not even offer performance based reviews for a raise and not meet yearly inflation blows my mind. My first year without the pandemic had raises just below inflation. Company gives everyone $500 bonus, regardless of rank, performance, nurse/doctor/accountant/etc, While nice, it doesn't move the needle when the compensation and benefits is already subpar. -No paid holidays, no sick days...must always use PTO. You get 28 PTO days as an incentive during interviewing, but if you're sick (non-COVID) or it's Christmas Day, then you have to use 8 hours. This is ridiculous for administrative staff and to be treated under the same umbrella as medical staff. No one wants to work here for a year+ just to be able to take a week vacation and holidays while not worrying about PTO. -There is no succession plan. I still have yet to hear a single mention of what it takes to advance in this Company (2 years in). I have raised my hand and asked too. -Equipment is extremely out of date. The laptop currently in use by staff is extremely old, slow, and bulky.

Pros

Clean environment, small community hospital feel, good ratios

Cons

Too political, no performance based raises (only market based for all of IU health), way too budget focused and it pours out into the units and inhibits patient care
