Pros

Decent commission structure, phone always ringing. Bonuses for the best agents.

Cons

Favoritism. The "grey" area, should not apply for a select few employees, it should apply to everyone or nobody. If policies are in place then stick to them to avoid behavior consistency issues with floor managers. Don't tell employees to work mandatory overtime hours unless the business NEEDS it (better forecasting). Stop hiring just anyone who walks in the door, be more selective when hiring. Treat EVERYONE with the same respect as you would want to be treated. Stop having ego maniac managers with NO level of professionalism or sales ability run your business, these people represent your culture. (EKT) (KS) (NW) Rarely get breaks. Constant fear of losing your job.

Pros

Clean and professional atmosphere to work in,They love to feed you,I believe they have good intentions, very patient with new employees"sales person's" comfortable place to work overall everyone has positive attitude. I do see room for advancement, everyone is friendly,if you can get past the first few weeks i see the potential to make an excellent living working only five days a week that's 40hr week, they also do something i never heard of which is great, they give you a 20% bonus just for coming to work on time!! for example you make $2000.00 for 2 week period you will get an additional $400.00 bonus just for not being late!! and they also offer extra money for extra days worked when asked and they have sales contest where you can win or earn big bonuses too!!

Cons

The training you receive before you are on the floor, does not prepare you for the actual on hand demands of the job, some coaches are very young men with overload of testosterone that want to muscle customers into signing on,not real sales professionals, they do not want to sell like real sales pros do,asking questions, finding out what the customer really wants, and how to fulfill their needs, sure they talk about building value but disguise it with putting your commission first before the customers needs.and folks when the customer realizes that ,your are toast but they advocate that behavior.overall they sell with to aggression and think this is the way to sell this, there are some good coaches,a little bit older and more mature that know how to talk to people but if you get one of these hot heads they will sink your deal fast.

Pros

very few....there is A/C and indoor plumbing.....you are not breaking up large rocks with heavy hammers....thats about it.....read on.

Cons

OH where to start....Infinity LIES during the interview process and hooks you by telling you the job is taking incoming SALES calls for DISH network which is a "cutting edge" service. Sound great right???? Here's the first big catch: Infinity's contract with DISH stipulates they must take SERVICE calls as well! You will be getting tons of SERVICE calls from CURRENT SUBSCRIBERS complaining about price, service and asking how they can get out of the iron clad contract. All this while you are working STRAIGHT COMMISION in other words you will be providing FREE CUSTOMER SERVICE to DISH network. Like I mentioned there are TONS of SERVICE and COMPLAINT calls because DISH IS HORRIBLE. It is the joke of the industry, its laughable compared to cable which has NO CONTRACT and superior service for the same price. It pales next to DIRECT TV. You are basically selling Ford Pintos in a market of BMWs and Benzes. Go on google and search "DISH NETWORK" and you will find endless people complaining about the poor service and crazy contracts and warning people to RUN FROM DISH!!!!!! Now because of this Chargebacks are HUGE!!!!! people have a cooling off period and they go online and see DISH's horrible rep and they call and cancel sales. You are expecting a paycheck check for $1000 and it comes in at $160. Its horrible. There is other stuff too but thats the main issues. Yes I am a current employee, yes I am looking for a new job.
