Pros

Close to home. Good place to start to build confidence in speaking to many people. You will come across many personalities.

Cons

Many people work there without any prior work experience. High turn over rate. Management can't keep up with flow of new hires, therefore a strong team takes long to develop.

Pros

Loved (most of) my coworkers 4 ten hour shifts

Cons

Pay was terrible. Pitiful raises (If you were lucky to get one). The company will do ANYTHING to save a buck (read as: take from the poor to give to one of their many directors, VP's and Chairmen). Constantly piling more work on the supervisors. Zero continuing education training. Who needs an HR training so we don't lose unemployment cases anyway. Instead, you get to find out if you're more of a "bear-owl" or a "shark-turtle" in trainings. Eliminating positions and "restructuring" more than the Cleveland Browns. Zero loyalty to their employees. No room for advancement.

Pros

It's not the worst place. Work life balance is good. Lots of people to meet since turnover in the call center is so high. Low pay and low expectations make imc a typical telemarketing vendor

Cons

Knowing people make $8 hr while most management is pulling 6 figures. Pyramid scheme. Cult of personality surrounding ownership. Major amounts of backstabbing and nepotism. Lots of nepotism.
