low pay 14.88 per hr they did a mass hire in July 2010- under the name of MedAssurant inc. Office was located in Annapolis MD. Trained us and sent us on our way. After we worked extremely hard for a so called projecyt 1 year we all get notice that they was chaning the name to innovalon and giving a severous package LOL the package was whar\ever leave you had left over and 2 weeks pay. Which was nothing with it was so unespetected. Team Leaders were a joke, managers were horrible and disrespectful. All the job consist of is coming in the office waiting for your team leader to give you a pick list which consist of 100 names of doctors that you have to call. none of the number work so you have to do a google search like you are the FBI. You get the phone number Script: Hi, I am so and so calling on behalf of MedAssurant or Innovalon I am calling to verifiy a fax and mailing address to request medical records. then after you do all of that the next week there is follow ups. you call back and ask for records again. its a stupid job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I only did it because the recruiter said it was a good place to work and i needed to pay my rent. They change their name after firing over 300 people smh. I am still hurt about this

Where to even start. Internal system is absolutely terrible and doesn't work; people are actually sent home early since it's so bad. Instead of fixing the system they are more concerned about rolling out new processes. Half the time those new parts are placed into the system but are never used because they learn too late that it's disastrous. There's no room for growth, hiring is based off who you're friends with or you smoke with, they allow people to stay that have been on "final warnings" for months. Nothing is consistent, management truly doesn't care, they constantly have "incentives" to motivate and then forget about them a week later...and then complain that everyone is demotivated. There's no benefit to working here save for a paycheck but since they lay off people once a year, who even knows.
