      Some employees were very nice, Friday Bagels

      Cons

      Rude, incompetent managers outweighed everything else. Nepotism persists. One manager assumes to runs the office and she doesn't even know how to use a computer. She is manipulative and will try to get you to do her work regardless of your workload.. Director is more concerned with keeping friends and family employed then hiring skilled managers. Contracts are mismanaged. Corp. Controller left after 5 months so you know it's bad

      Pros

      They present themselves really well and the concept is really unique.

      Cons

      The Executives are in over their heads. They may be the ones running the company but that doesn't make them good managers. There people skills are horrible and they do more to damage the culture of the company than any disgruntled employee could. I really question their ethics as well. The shenanigans that they do to 'earn' business is well known by the employees that they haven't let go but they need their jobs.

      Pros

      IBTS is a unique place to work here in Ashburn. So far, my experience with IBTS has been a positive one; I've been given the opportunity to develop my own career goals and strive to meet them. I've been offered training and development opportunities, and continually get to work on challenging/fun projects. Our benefits are excellent and the company has also recently been promoting wellness through different company-sponsored activities, which is a nice perk. We also have had opportunities for volunteer work in recent years. The people here are great to work with too. All in all, IBTS is a pretty great place to be!

      Cons

      No company is perfect. Same goes for IBTS- while there are changes that could be made but I think quite a few of the challenges the organization faces is because of recent rapid growth. There's also some resistance to working from home, which is something that I wish would change.

      Thank you for your input! Our senior management is currently working on developing a more formalized telecommute policy in order to create a more flexible work environment for our employees. Change is needed for any organization to succeed and our refreshed management team plans to bring several new improvements to IBTS's procedures soon.
