Pros

New management Implementing positive strategies. Compensation plan is generous. Rewarding experiences representing a product that significantly improves lives of patients. Strong alliances among field team.

Cons

Challenging to achieve daily metrics and comp plan incentives without putting in extra time after hours and weekends. Very poor work life balance. Looked upon as underachiever or not ambitious unless personal time is sacrificed to work more hours. Management plays favorites. Strategic message and marketing materials changed much too frequently lacking the traction needed at the provider level.

Pros

Everyone is so nice and fun to be around. The Billerica office is gorgeous and spacious. Also, the omnipod is such a great product and has great potential in drug delivery.

Cons

First of all, there's a huge wage gap throughout the positions. Compensation is below average of other employers. Hard work and effort are not respected or acknowledged. Senior level management act entitled and often times have no respect for their teams. It's unfortunate that over the past year the company has changed its tune of overall employee happiness to neglecting the work-life balance. The hours are long and the expectation is far too high. Just in q1 2015 alone, 90 new hires came in (majority in marketing and sales) and more than half were from Hologic (CEO's prior company). With new management, they pushed out so many people to make room for their colleagues (who broke their non-compete agreements). There is almost no room for career growth as they continually hire outside the company to fill more senior management positions (almost everyone there is chief, director, or senior). The dress code is business casual, which is normal, however they are not pressing it to their north office of Neighborhood Diabetes, which was done to "not disrupt their culture". If yoga pants, leggings, and sweatshirts is their culture, then that's just sad. I would not recommend taking a job here.

Pros

New management team is making much needed change and investment. Some collateral damage, but mostly all for the better. Technology is great and new CEO's focus on quality and customer experience is long overdue.

Cons

All the change produces anxiety and distraction. But building the management and senior leadership talent can't happen soon enough and there is still a lot of dead weight.
