Pros

You get a check!. If you’re new to the insurance industry this will give you a firsthand look of all the things you will want to avoid in your next agent position. If you are a seasoned agent it should only take you no more 2 weeks to get a true feel of the position and move on.

Cons

Poor leadership overloads agents with unrealistic work load, too many levels of middle mgmt (6 managers for 21 agents).Poor training for new agents. Outdated computer systems. Company make big share of revenue with agency fees and financed insurance premiums. Majority of the companies they write have horrible claims service
