Pros

No pros. I didn’t like anything

Cons

To start off, they always hire you as a temp and tell you you can become permanent after six months. But once you start actually working, they tell you that the you only become permanent IF they have a position open when your temp contract expires and if there is a position available, you have to APPLY to become a permanent employee. In the meantime while you’re a temp, you don’t get any benefits. No PTO, no holiday pay even though they make you work Christmas Eve, NYE, etc. You get micromanaged.

Pros

None.. maybe great food at holiday parties and break room snacks.

Cons

Everything. Absolutely racist company. People who have been with this company for long (over 5 yrs) are very very mean. Heavy internal politics.. nothing is openly discussed with the team which is shown in the form of extreme favoritism. No growth, no learning opportunity. Eventually everybody ends up with absolutely zero will to work here.. people are hired and they leave within no time. Long term employees quit with frustration. Temporary employees are treated horribly. Company doesn't have any long term goals.. and even for the short term goals, they try to do what is easier rather than what is right. Tries to cut corners at every step. No intellectual discussions within the teams and no cross-functional work. Barely any resources. Doesn't pay suppliers on time and sometimes doesn't pay at all, especially for small/trial orders. Very toxic culture with horrible managers who either don't reply at all or micromanage unnecessary things. No need to even discuss about pay. It is absolute $h**. Only favorite employees are allowed to take a pto or sick leave or even a vacation. Managers don't even acknowledge or respond to requests from the rest.

Pros

-Many excellent people to work with, including several strong leaders. -Great product portfolio. -Growing mid-cap sized company, with significant recent growth through acquisition. -Competitive benefits, average overall pay / compensation.

Cons

-Limited opportunities for advancement below Director-level roles, where several roles are not associated with a defined career path. If you are an ambitious person looking to grow your career, this may not be the best place for you. -Obvious and extreme favoritism within upper management. -Inconsistent HR policies. -Unclear priorities, with lean resources within several functional areas.
