I was hired for what I thought was a permanent position. The IT department was made up of a manager, 4 help desk folks and 1 overrated tier 2 guy that built the entire environment. They were moving one of the data centers while their Tier 2 guy was on vacation. They called me on a Tuesday at 9:30 and wanted me to come in by 1pm so I could attend meetings on the data center move. Over the next two days I followed around their tier 2 guy who basically ignored me while he went about his business. Once the director decided to wait on the data center move, they let me go. They said I didn't have enough VMware knowledge. At no time during my 3 days at the company did they ask me to even log in to a windows or doing anything in VMware. Stay away! I saw a lot of problems in their environment.They never gave me a chance and couldn't even let me go face to face. They went through the contract company after hours.

People! The number one asset at this company is the people that are committed to the customers that they serve. The people that have hung on during years of growing pains are truly the company's unclaimed gold. Great trade shows and excitement around sales during those times. Good Product mix and offering and excellent growth potential.

Cons

Senior Management is very disconnected from the actualities of what the true needs of the employees and customers are. They seem to be focus on the next shiny "toy" rather than looking at the available talent that they have in their own building and the capability of the current systems. People are very discouraged and are not truly engaged in the business.
