Decent benefits, sabbatical, decent pay, opportunity for travel are amongst the reasons to work here.

Cons

WAY TO MUCH USELESS BUREAUCRACY, ineptitude of senior management, stock being in the toilet for years, mistrust amongst colleagues, process being more important than results, opportunities limited to where your site is, rather than your competence.

Pros

Intel has a very rigorous manufacturing environment. There are a lot of opportunities for interesting projects to work on. Intel is a very stable company that continues to make a profit every quarter. This adds relative stability to a job at Intel when compared to other companies in the industry.

Cons

There are a lot of managers. Too many chiefs and not enough indians. A lot of busy work in dealing with the day to day grind.
