Pros

health insurance is decent i guess.

Cons

the job interview was not an accurate description of the job itself, i felt it was dishonest in the scope of job verses pay rate. i had more than one offer, and decided to take intellivo, but i regret it every day. if you like being watched at every click, tracked by footsteps and shamed for taking breaks or using the bathroom please work here. boiler room tactics make this place unbearable to interact with a positive attitude. stressful for no reason, and benefits are not worth the constant surveillance.

Pros

401k match, inspiring and talented teammates

Cons

I was asked to write a review: Intellivo's lack of support for a hybrid work model is disappointing. In this day and age, it's important for companies like Intellivo to adapt to the changing needs of employees for better work-life balance and productivity. Not only that, but some employees actually do get to work hybrid and some do not. As a tech company, Intellivo should understand the perks of a hybrid work model - like more flexibility, access to diverse talent, and cost savings. By embracing remote work options, they could create a more inclusive and employee-friendly work environment that fits the modern workforce. I think Intellivo should let employees work remotely for at least one or two days a week. This could seriously boost morale, productivity, and employee happiness. It's a win-win for everyone! Intellivo, please rethink your approach to remote work and consider a hybrid model that supports work-life balance. Making these changes can create a more positive and flexible work culture that benefits both employees and the company in the long run.

Pros

NONE sharing a con that I agree with that was previously posted and well said.

Cons

Intellivo, formerly known as Benefit Recovery Group (BRG), has undergone significant changes in an attempt to distance itself from its past. Despite the rebranding efforts, in my opinion the company remains out of touch with how to make their employees feel valued and respected. One of the first major changes implemented was the elimination of most remote positions. This decision forced everyone to work in the office or leave the company. Another significant change was the removal of monthly commissions. This adjustment resulted in a SUBSTANTIAL decrease in overall pay for many employees, even with a supposed salary increase. Monthly bonuses are a standard in this business but they decided that their employees weren’t worth what they were making in commission and did away with it. The new compensation structure includes an annual individual bonus determined by flawed KPIs. The delay in receiving bonuses also demotivates employees, as the immediate financial rewards for hard work are no longer present. The QA audits are petty and unhelpful, focusing more on minor insignificant infractions than on meaningful feedback. It comes off like more of a gotcha moment. Additionally, favoritism is rampant within the company. Promotions are often given based on personal relationships rather than merit, creating an atmosphere where employees feel undervalued and unappreciated. The lack of clear criteria for promotions further exacerbates this issue, leaving many employees uncertain about their career progression within the company. If you are relocating and can no longer work in the office, management will favor certain employees enough to fight for them to work remotely in a new position. However, they will tell other employees that remote work is not an option, highlighting the inconsistency and favoritism in their policies. Furthermore, the company shows a complete lack of concern for employees with significant health issues. They refuse to allow these employees to work from home, forcing them to file for FMLA and miss out on their full income until they can return to the office. This lack of empathy and support for employees facing health challenges is particularly troubling. The lack of flexibility in work arrangements shows a disregard for employees' value and worth to the company. The overall professionalism and culture at Intellivo are lacking. Employees are not treated as capable adults but rather as teenagers who need constant supervision and childish “pep talks”Management speaks to employees as if they are in kindergarten, believing this is motivational despite the fact their employees are professional ADULTS. This approach undermines the employee and their career tenure. The company’s benefits and leave policies are also disappointing. Paid Time Off (PTO) is mediocre at best, and the healthcare plans offered are very expensive. Moreover, there is no parental leave policy in place. Employees must exhaust all of their PTO before they can go on short-term disability, which leaves them with no paid time off for the rest of the year upon their return. This policy is particularly harsh on new parents and employees with medical needs, further contributing to the feeling of being undervalued by upper management. To be fair, they recently improved 401k benefits, so that is one positive. Intellivo’s rebranding efforts and subsequent changes have failed to improve the company’s reputation and employee satisfaction. The elimination of remote positions, flawed compensation structure, childish work environment, clear favoritism, and inadequate benefits and leave policies all contribute to a negative employee experience. Unless significant improvements are made, Intellivo will continue to struggle with retaining talent and fostering a positive and professional workplace environment. Advice to Management Stop showing blatant favoritism amongst peers. It only creates resentment between employees. Give more PTO and actually show care and concern for employees having major medical issues. Allow them to work from home so they aren’t struggling to pay their medical bills. Talk to your employees like they are grown ups and stop with the childish “motivational” speeches. Quit with the company meetings that offer no value to the employees but seem to just be centered around executive management patting themselves on the back and sharing pointless information. It’s a waste of time. Do better!
