Pros

Decent salary and benefits, great coworkers who really care, good opportunity to practice therapy with underserved population

Cons

micro management with emails sent as soon as a note is over 24 hours late, which is often given how high the caseloads are (45-50 clients), staff meetings and supervision are just paperwork and risk management and all the things you need to do in case there's an audit not to mention the inappropriate things supervisors say about clients. hard to keep good therapists and supervisors with management and working conditions like this

Pros

The reported intention of the organizaiton is significantly important. They offer salary and benefits to therapists.

Cons

The policies, although rigid outwardly to staff, are not stated/change unexpectantly to serve wishes of the executive management; and lean on antequated fear-based, punitive model for labor control and productivity stats over quality of work. Leadership style, policies, and communication leans on tonal contempt/disregard for staff...,assuming the worst intentions rather than exploring problem solving which sorely devalues and undermines staff in/on all levels.

Pros

>Quickly fill your caseload >Good supervisory support >Fixed Salary offers more financial stability >If you hit your hours you're mostly left alone >Progress notes aren't too complicated >Staff are generally nice

Cons

>Egregious lack of proper training on how to use their EHR >High caseload (you're paid for 35 but expected to have at least 45 patients to account for no shows) >Very productivity focused >High turnover rates, don't expect coworkers to stick around for long >Only 24 hours to submit progress notes despite high caseloads >Managers/Admin have poor training on administration skills; a lot of them wing it and it shows >No IDs, which is an issue early on when staff don't know who you are yet and you can't navigate the facility freely >Poor support for patients who speak foreign languages
