Pros

The only pro to working here is that you have the potential to make a lot of money.

Cons

The company is way more concerned about profit than the individual. You have the potential to make a lot of money but have to sacrifice everything in the process. Recruiting companies are a dime a dozen these days... don't work at this one.

It's always sad to hear when an employee leaves IDR with a negative experience, and this is no exception. It sounds like we did a poor job while you were with us of explaining how our Benefits and Employee Stock Ownership Plan work for everyone on our team; as your comments are puzzling us. IDR is proud of the fact that we have one of the most lucrative compensation plans in the industry. One that consistently reinvests back in our people by paid commissions, training, mentorship and best-in-class resources. From employee stock ownership after just 1 year of service, to robust Medical and Insurance coverage, to our Corporate Athlete Program, and others, we strive on giving each of our employees the best by investing these benefits back in them. Still, as an employee owned organization, we are responsible to our stockholders (each employee) to ensure the company has a strong financial standing. As good stewards of the company, all owners are all required to ensure that IDR continues to thrive financially. It's a balance all companies have to make, and while we know were not perfect, we feel we're better in this department that most of our competitors. Thanks for your feedback, we'll keep pushing to be better.

Pros

1) I was able to work through IDR out of Atlanta, GA, 100% from my home for 7 years. 2) The money was fairly good, but the company policy of a review every year did not occur; instead I had to contact the CEO, Eric French, after my 3rd year to even get noticed.

Cons

My largest complaint concerning IDR is that they profess to value their employees, and offer an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) that may or may not pay out to anyone in the far distant future, maybe. The company may or may not ever pay out to anyone, except to those working in the main offices, at the whim of whomever controls the fund. If the ESOP is part of any prospective employee of the company in making their decision to work for IDR, then they may wish to rethink working for this company.

It is an IDR practice to make sure each of our employees understand the entire IDR benefits structure; including those listed benefits of IDR’s Employee Stock Ownership Plan. Not only is an overview provided when these individuals go through our on-boarding process, but also during the vestment process, and, if applicable, the off-boarding process. As part of this process to ensure that all individuals understand the benefits, and their rights under the ESOP, we provide a verbal overview, supporting written materials, and we ensure an IDR representative is always available to address any additional questions an individual may have regarding these plans. IDR remains committed to creating a comfortable and transparent process for all of our employees. We appreciate your feedback, and will continue to strive to ensure the communication on these processes are as thorough as they can be.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. Although we believe the extracurricular activities are part of our fun and unique culture, we apologize if it was not communicated to you that they are all optional. We hope that these activities are rewarding and show our appreciation for our employees’ hard work. We operate under a ‘self-portal system’ in which you can manage all your hours yourself; therefore, your compensation is based on the hours you log. Again, we value your feedback and will make every effort to improve. Thank you!
