Pros
You'll make a difference in real-world situations at ICC. You'll work with a diverse, highly expert group of individuals across the world. You'll work with members that would give the shirt off their back to help you or their stakeholders. You'll have excellent benefits, especially if you take advantage of all of them.
Cons
You'll deal with a ton of politics, both internal to the company and external to the membership (could be a pro or con). You'll have to answer to both internal and external stakeholders - it's a challenge in balancing their wants. You'll work hard. Not necessarily a con, but be aware that the higher you go, the more that's expected of you.
