      Pros

      Meaningful work, my team had a great supervisor who was willing to coach and mentor. Opportunities to travel.

      Cons

      Organization has an 'old guard' gate keeping promotion opportunities and the headquarter level. The industry itself is incredibly elite yet they strive to serve immigrant and refugee communities. If this organization can recognize their implicit/explicit role in colonization, perhaps they can work more collaboratively with local actors already doing this work.

      smart, passionate colleagues. powerful history, mission and resources, oddly enough, i would recommend this to a friend - with a cautionary not to thoroughly research your manager before coming on board. some here are phenomenal, some are not.

      Cons

      it's very disorganized and overly ambitious. they have bitten off more than they can chew. makes for too many unfinished projects, wasted efforts and resources.
