Pros

Always got jobs, Per diem is a big plus if you can bank it and can make up for the low wage. Flexible about sites you are on. Company outings were always fun. Amazing price for family health insurance

Cons

Nepotism is strong at the MN regional office. Favorites. No accountability for all roles senior managers to apprentice. "Toxic" work place, Gossip and rumors' rule over results. Extremely underpaid for MN journeymen.

Pros

Respectful of time off. If site management isn't respectful of time off or causing unsafe work then tell HR. They usually do a good job.

Cons

Apprentice program is NCCER, but they make do 6 months of studying, training, and testing in 1 week so you aren't really retaining anything.

We love hearing our people sticking up for each other to keep our job sites safe! This is a key part of our Family core value, and we want to see it lived out in our safety culture. Due to our wide demographics and project needs, our apprenticeship program can only offer training in a week-long intensive program. We'll continue to look at ways to engage development through our projects. Thank you for sharing your story with us!
