      Solid Comp but Poor Culture and Work Environment

      Pros

      Salary is good. ESPP is 15% of salary at 85% stock price and price is locked for 2 years. Yearly bonus available for most positions. Tech is pretty cool and fun to work on. Plenty of holidays and 12 vacation days.

      Cons

      Hours in manufacturing are long and involve mandatory OT and weekends. There is little to no regard for work life balance or any personal commitments for employees. If you cannot stay late or work a weekend due to personal commitments you have to use vacation time to cover hours/days missed. Lots of micro-management and office politics. Little autonomy Metrics are meaningless. Management establishes easily attainable goals or warps metrics to make it appear that they always reach their goals rather than having stretch or challenging goals for everything except maybe output. Super sensitive "I'm offended" environment has everyone scared of saying the wrong thing and management enables this. Management shows up to work sporadically at best.

      Great company, finance org has room for improvement

      Pros

      - Great compensation, plenty of equity - Learning opportunities are abundant, dynamic workplace - Mission driven company, great business outlook

      Cons

      - Burnout/overworking is a common issue in a lean finance org - Middle management can be hit or miss in finance org - Finance is used as a catch all team (doing finance, analytics, & process improvement/automation) - willing to sacrifice well being of their own org to help business partners

      Company doing well. External hires creating non-inclusive culture

      Pros

      Total compensation. Senior Leadership and certain Senior Directors. Co workers who care about the product and this is a true engineering company to do the right thing while ensuring patient centric decisions are always at the core of decision making.

      Cons

      Externally hired - certain Directors and Senior Directors who have no clue of the present culture nor have a respect for people who do NOT ; look like them, talk like them, dress like them. It is a toxic culture due to such external hires. Passive aggressive line manager creates unwanted dress Rest of the organization is doing very well.
