Pros

The front-line employees such as outside agents, local call center, portfolio managers and similar staff want to provide quality service to the tenant base. Overall, they are people with solid work ethic who believe in beginning and completing tasks necessary to provide service, quality, value--you get the picture-- to a tenant base.

Cons

Management is corrupt because the company goals are antithetical to honesty, integrity, value, quality, and service. The company goal is singular: profits for shareholders far removed from the likes of residential property rentals. So, the goal is to automate what can be automated. Employ highly unqualified and unlicensed personnel, cut costs where possible...mostly in customer service and quality repairs. Rent increases and evictions, irrespective of property condition, location and company dysfunction. For now, the economic climate provides a safe haven and profitability for this culture.

Pros

I've loved doing contract work with Invitation Homes. The company is creative and inspires me to come up with new ideas. The staff truly cares about its employees and residents.

Cons

I don't work in the office, so I don't know what the company culture is like at the headquarters.
