Pros

Fancy new office. Free crappy coffee and snacks.

Cons

My experience in this department was not positive. Leadership style was extremely controlling and did not allow team members the autonomy to grow or contribute meaningfully. Turnover within the team was very high, which created instability and low morale. Strategic decisions were largely driven by an external consulting firm rather than internal talent, and career progression felt limited. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this department for those seeking development or long-term sustainability.
