Pros

The team I work with is amazing. Honestly, Invoca does a great job hiring, because everyone here is extremely helpful, communicative and inclusive- it truly is a TEAM effort. Not only that, but each individual is given a chance to shine and truly showcase their skills - it makes for an open career path, as you are able to refine your professional skills and present to C-level teams. And because of the fast-paced environment and fast growing company, you truly don't know where you'll be in 6 months.

Cons

We're currently growing at an extremely fast rate, so you need to be ready to pivot at a moments notice. If you aren't used to this & need more structure, this probably isn't the job for you. We're also a group of very hard working individuals that are all passionately focused on the same business goal, so we may not have the best work/life balance, but honestly no one complains because we enjoy the company so much.

Pros

I've worked at a variety of tech companies and agencies and I have to say that Invoca is a special place. We do our best work, trust each other, and everyone understands and is working collectively toward the company goals. But above all, employees feel supported by their peers, managers, and the leadership team. This means we can push ourselves without being fearful, speak up or stay quiet without being judged, and celebrate our successes with pure joy and appreciation for each other. It's unique for a high performing software company to have this kind of culture and while it has always been part of Invoca's DNA in some way, it has definitely flourished under the leadership of our CEO, Gregg Johnson.

Cons

We are growing and expanding in Denver and SF, so there's still work to do to ensure these other offices are on the same "level" as HQ in Santa Barbara.

Invoca is a special place! We're working hard to make sure we continue that as we grow. We're also working to make sure that we have this same environment in our other offices. It's definitely a big focus of our discussions on growth in other areas. Thank you!
