My experience with InvoiceCloud has been exceptional from the very beginning. The interview process was one of the best I've ever encountered. There was complete transparency throughout, and any questions I had were answered promptly. Before my final interview presentation, the recruiter even reached out to ensure I had everything I needed and offered to answer any last-minute questions. It made me feel well-prepared and valued. What truly stood out was how my interviewers, who are now my teammates, not only assessed my competencies and skills but also took the time to understand me as an individual. They asked thoughtful questions that gave me a sense of the company culture and the values they prioritize. Since joining, I've experienced nothing but respect, teamwork, and a genuine sense of belonging. The team at InvoiceCloud has been incredibly welcoming, making me feel like I’m part of a family. Everyone is a team player, working together towards common goals, and it's evident that collaboration is deeply ingrained in the culture here. This is, without a doubt, the best company I’ve ever worked for. The engineering team at InvoiceCloud is truly impressive—skilled, collaborative, and capable of delivering strong technical solutions. The engineers work well together and are competent in their technical expertise.

Cons

Management consistently changes priorities and the scope of projects, creating confusion and making it hard to focus on long-term goals. There is a lack of understanding of the tech stack within management, which is problematic for a tech-driven company. Management struggles to quantify deliverables or measure performance, leading to unrealistic expectations and inefficiencies. HR fosters a negative environment, ignores employee concerns, and contributes to low morale. The workplace dynamic is disrupted by poor leadership and ineffective HR, making it hard to retain top talent and thrive within the company.

Constant layoffs ever since the sale to Vista, the company will be gone soon.

We recognize the transition from a public company to a private company changes the way in which information is shared. We regularly share our financial results in our monthly InvoiceCloud All Hands Meetings to be as transparent as possible. We are really excited about our year-to-date results, and we have big plans for 2025 and beyond. Our private equity partners, are just that, partners. We look to them for industry best practices and advice, as well as leverage their resources and expertise. There have been some staffing changes to better align us to our north star – and we’ve tried to be as transparent as possible. We understand that change can be challenging, and we are actively working to address the concerns that have been raised. Our leadership team is committed to creating a positive work environment where all employees feel valued and heard. We are making significant improvements and welcome new team members who are ready to be part of our transformation. Together, we believe we can build a stronger company.
