Pros

J.Crew is a great company to work for! They have opportunity to move up a lot within the call centers and the training really prepares you. You have the empowerment to make decisions without having to ask management always, which leaves you able to help your customer in the best way.

Cons

J.Crew's peak season can get a little insane.

Pros

2 weeks vacation, discount is amazing, fun to install creatives, decent pay for college workers, great retail experience, tons of room for evolution in the company, successful retailer, great co-workers, amazingly talented management

Cons

People in corporate really don't care about who you are, or what your name is, regardless of the amount of times you may meet then/work along side them. In which case, it is really difficult to move up to corporate as a merchandiser.
