Poor treatment from managers and worker rights violated.

Pros

The great parts about working for this company are the pleasant environment and generous employee benefits.

Cons

Management does not care about the rights, health and well being of the employee at all. I was told I would not be allowed to have one day a week off to practice my religion. I also witnessed managements habit of looking for any reason to terminate people they don't like, or unjustly terminating people. They will also work you till you bleed and milk you for anything they can. After doing overnight shifts and after it is your scheduled time to leave they will continue asking you to do more and more tasks. I would never work for this company again,

Pros

Discount, benefits & PTO are great. Absolute best benefits of any company I've ever worked for actually. Corporate genuinely listens and takes customer suggestions into consideration. Customer service is typically top notch. Great stepping stone when J.crew was at its peak.

Cons

It's all a huge popularity contest when it comes to advancement - hello high school. This is across the board both at 770, through flagship stores and down into the call centers. If you're someone's pet and look the part, you get the job. The quality of the clothing has taken a dive, and prices are rather inflated. although it is good to see the company going back to its roots in its core styling. A bit too late, I'm afraid as it seems they've lost their top tier client.

Pros

PTO time, if you're allowed to take it as you want to and not how you're told to.

Cons

Every 1 star review is on point so there isn't much more that I could add. All management (from the CEO to the Keyholders) needs to reach back and remember what J.Crew stood for before Jenna's big break. That was a time when quality meant something. It was a time when customer service was genuine. Every interaction was honest and not filled with aggressive tactics. Every employee meant something. Teams were built like families. Everyone cared about you and made sure you were set up for success both at work and at home. Quality of life once mattered. There was heart and soul... J.Crew has lost all of this and has become a cold, grey prison where you need to make sure you join the right gang so you don't get shanked by the sociopaths you are surrounded by.
