Pros

Very friendly, light and supportive atmosphere. Higher level manager respect to the employees and between the same level employees. No pressure. Flexible work hours.

Cons

Minimum hour rate pay, as a part time employee - no social benefits

Pros

Discounts, especially on top of sales.

Cons

There was never enough people working. Almost no training at all. We frequently had to run back into the store into inventory to help customers find additional sizes-- which is what we're supposed to do-- but they we'd get yelled at for not being on the floor. Managers expected us to do a million things at once and ask each customer at least a million times if they needed help.

Pros

Location in New York City, discount is good. You can learn a descent amount about retail business.

Cons

There is nothing that makes working here FUN. Not a great work environment as far as attitude and morale. Management doesn't seem to care about their people, nor do they listen. They don't pay planning/allocation a competitive salary.
