Pros

Solid pay, excellent benefits, well respected firm, fortune 50 firm

Cons

Difficult to move up the ladder; people are promoted based upon their proximity to the decision makers not overall performance, frequent management reorganization, poor planning by recruiting management for hiring upswings, management is not honest when presenting 'opportunities for growth' to employees; the carrot that is dangled as a potential reward for taking on projects or additional work to benefit the team is ignored once the work has been completed.
