Good work/life balance. Above average salaries.

Chaotic environment. Feel like they don't know/care how to properly do software development. Old technologies.

Pros

The work life balance in Asset Management is great. Unless you're severely understaffed, you can expect to come in and leave at the same times everyday.

Cons

The training for certain roles are inadequate, and you are forced to figure too much on your own. This can sometimes lead to knowledge gaps, and misinterpretation of information.
