Pros

Lots of learning opportunities, good for people early in their careers Plenty of scope to move around the business Great people, great middle management

Cons

The biggest con is the complete lack of flexibility and general lack of trust from leadership, meaning no flexibility The CEO recently said at a business review, “if you want work / life balance, this isn’t the business for you” which says a lot. The offices are uninspiring and in the middle of no where with not much to do other than walk around the lake. Salaried staff are required to clock in and out every day, with lunch breaks taken at the same time by everyone everyday. Staff kitchen is also completely unsubsidised which is disappointing considering all staff are on site 5x a week

Pros

Some of the people are great!

Cons

JCB feels stuck in the past, with an old-fashioned way of working that doesn’t support modern employees. Cutting flexi holidays from 10 to 5 days shows that the company is moving away from caring about work-life balance. It seems like these changes are meant to push people to leave. Bullying is common across different BUs and is often ignored, creating a toxic and stressful environment. Many arrogant managers act above others and are not willing to help, making it hard for teams to feel supported. Overall, employees are not treated as people, but just as numbers. This kind of culture is damaging morale and driving good people away.

Pros

There are no pros to joining this company.

Cons

There is no upside to joining this company. 1. No flexible timing, you have to work from 8.30 to 5.30 and if you miss even a few minutes you will get a mail saying you have missed. 2. A few months ago they just terminated about 100 employees and told them to leave the place and where escorted out by security, No respect to them what so ever. How on earth does anyone deserve that. 3. Senior management will get upset if you correct them. 4. Salary is always sub par to industrial standards. 5. The company is located more than 20 miles from any location and there is no regular public transport. 6. There is no salary structure or promotion structure. You could be the best at your field but if you don't listen to the management they will throw you out.
