Pros

- Pays just above min wage. - Comfortable working conditions - 20% discount on everything (including Sephora inside JCP!!!) - Pretty flexible hours / worked around my school and theater schedule.

Cons

- Hours were just recently cut, I'm only working about 10-12 hours a week now, and only on weekends. - LOTS of busywork on the floor / Staying over an hour after we close just to clean up. - Supervisors / Managers somewhat uncaring

Pros

The company has an impressive benefits package for part-time employers. Depending on where a person works, paid time off if requested within a reasonable time is granted and is flexible.

Cons

The downside of working for JCP is low wages and low raises, if the company fiscal year is not met in profits, the employees will go on a wage freeze.
