Pros

Travel Perks are a bonus and system is easy to use.

Cons

Management is horrible and Supervisors are disillusioned. No diversity and training on the job sucks. Cliques & favoritism run rampant, lots of former Frontier employees who bring horrible habits like gossiping. They will fire you for speaking out ,huge turnover at Las Vegas office. Toxic environment and HR is practically deaf to what's happening in Las Vegas. This company will not learn any lessons until EEOC or Labor Board complaints are filed.

We're very proud of the direct relationship we have with our pilot group, as well as JFAC (our internal labor representation group). This direct relationship has afforded us the ability to quickly update work rules, pay, etc... as exemplified in recent increases to per diem, updates preferred over-night hotels, bidding, base changes, etc... Your pilot-elected JFAC representative is a great place to start for sharing your ideas on how to improve working conditions outlined in "pilot conditions" (our version of a CBA). The monthly pilot call, including the CEO, VP Flight Operations, and Chief Pilot is another open forum you can use to communicate concerns. Additionally, we are very thankful to the entire pilot group on their willingness to negotiate update terms to Pilot Conditions that helped JSX completely avoid any involuntary furloughs as we navigate the dramatic downturn in traffic as a result of the pandemic.

Toxic Workplace

Pros

Great flight benefits. Guaranteed full time and overtime hours.

Cons

Overworked, underpaid. CEO cares only about expanding. low morale. toxic work environment. hard workers are overlooked. high turnover. will make you work outside job responsibilities without compensation. untrustworthy managers including higher-up and HR. Dog eat dog. Undertrained. Low to No incentives. They forget to invest in their employees and for this it's a high turnover and poor Moral. HR is also a problem. The people who you're supposed to trust and confide in when there's an issue, instead promote the issue and do nothing about it or contribute by being the issue or ignoring it. They are easily bribed by the wrong people, thus , the people who shouldn't be there stay, and the ones who genuinely want to be there and work hard leave. The trainers gossip about the new hires behind their back to others instead of directly addressing the issue so they can fix it. No accountability is ever taken. If you work here be very careful who you trust and who you open up to. Chances are its being used against you or spoken about behind your back. Managers are not interested in making the work place better, mostly just want to party.
