Pros

Jack Link's always has the potential to be a great culture. People and shared values are what made Jack Link's what it was.

Cons

Turnover of top Management that had tribal knowledge of company, values, culture and beliefs. Leadership is what Jack Link's is currently lacking. The current Sales Management are cannibalistic and thus eat their own. Nobody is celebrating wins as there are no wins to celebrate.

'ism runs rampant here.

Pros

Cool office but everyone is stuck in tiny cubes. Free product occasionally. Growing category.

Cons

They tell us to write positive reviews. That should speak volumes. Negative reviews are ACCURATE! Zero work life balance. No flexibility at all. Goals are changed in the middle of the year when they think we might hit it or set so high it's impossible. We got a bonus for the first time in YEARS but only because of covid (or the China Virus as Troy's calls it). Don't plan on another bonus because he'll make sure it never happens again. Good old boys club with a token clueless female in a higher job. All talent leaves quickly or gets fired. I sure wouldn't want to be a woman in this company. Benefits are dismal. 401K is pathetic. Turn over is rampant. I've never heard the F bomb so often outside of a locker room in my life! Marketing turns over so often the same mistakes get made over and over. Sales is full of dead wood, people well past retirement age who don't know how to turn on a computer, and old leaders who are completely worthless. Most new hires are CPG rejects and have chips on their shoulders and have zero actual knowledge. Total fear based culture so watch your back. No accountability and people get thrown under the bus constantly. Departments don't talk to each other and strategies change like the wind. Confusing, depressing and demotivating place to work.

Rough crowd, women not welcome in management

Pros

Great product + growing category = huge opportunity

Cons

Yelling and swearing are a normal part of business here. The only woman at a director level was HR (a position with really no significant decision making power). They constantly wanted to bring in talented women to report to men clearly less qualified.
