Rewarding Work, Worth Doing, With Folks That Make It Joyful

Pros

* building tools for businesses that have never had tools this good * building an app for the public that is useful and brings people joy * doing all of this in an industry that's got lots of room to grow and try new ideas * working with folks who are enjoyable to be with, support each other, and can always be trusted to perform no matter the situation * opportunities to make major contributions and decisions around design, technology, and the organization.

Cons

This isn't really a con as far as I'm concerned, but we're a small shop early in the game, so resources are a little tighter than they would be at a larger, more established company. That's not necessarily a bad thing, we park for free and the chairs are actually really nice, but nobody here joined the team because of the chairs or parking. We're all here because we're really into what we're doing, we're super stoked to be on this team, and we'd rather brown-bag it here than get lunch catered anywhere else. Also, we're young and growing and we don't use more process than we need. Again, this is not necessarily a con. For folks looking for an older, more established culture with lots of mature, structured processes in place, it can be. If you like the idea of lightweight processes, and you're excited about establishing process when and where it's needed, it's not.

Pros

Kaizen - A Japanese business philosophy of "continuous improvement of working practices, personal efficiency, etc." Jane embodies this fully. Transparent, data driven, and a highly productive & communicative team. Jane employees push to learn from challenges, while striving for the future with extremely fast- growth. We have an incredible Partner Success Team and a product built with love and dedication for the cannabis e-commerce community.

Cons

Start-up growing pains. Working remote always has it's challenges however the team effectively communicates. Small price to pay for working at one of the fasted growing e-commerce companies in the nation.

- Working on a product that users are *super* passionate about - Coworkers who care deeply about their work and will push you to do the best work of your life. - No silos: engineering, design, sales, customer success all work and communicate closely. Everyone is welcome to give feedback on the product and internal processes. - Interesting challenges in all areas, ranging from novel UI/UX to real-time infrastructure that scales

Cons

There's an infinite amount of work, which can result in hard decisions when it comes to prioritization.
