Pros

The team is fantastic to work with. Folks at the company are incredibly enthusiastic about delivering against stated business objectives and, most importantly, making a positive impact on our user's eyes. Working to perfect the art of effectively assembling and running a hybrid/distributed workforce. Highly receptive and accessible leadership team.

Cons

Opportunities to continue streamline decision-making processes.

The place to grow

Pros

-A great place to grow and learn the ins and outs of a health tech start up -Really smart employees and colleagues who are fun to work with even in a remote setting -You can really see your impact in a short amount of time -The company is still at a point where you can build a relationship with the CEO/leadership team and they know exactly who you are which is always a nice feeling

Cons

Like at any startup, sometimes projects take longer to get out the door than expected.

do not work here

Pros

endless supply of capital with no apparent accountability required of the CEO, who is also the primary investor

Cons

ZERO product focus and identity. This company is still in early stages of customer development and yet have managed to fund & build an enterprise grade product with absolutely no unique value along with a full ecommerce & growth ecosystem around it. As this proceeds, each new iteration grows more expensive, and since there is no focus on any type of core unique value, executive leadership blame employees for ongoing scaling failures. Flat management structure where all employees are micro-managed by toxic and outdated executive leadership. Do not work here if you have any self respect as it will be challenged.

Thank you for this opportunity to address your feedback with us. We're sorry about your experience while working at January AI. Our employees feel a great sense of accountability to each other and to the mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Nine entities have invested in the company however, our share-holding employees are our most valued stakeholders. They make the ultimate investment, the investment of time. Using AI to disrupt healthcare, expand access to expensive devices and leverage consumer data to enable health equity is no small feat and one worth steadfastly pursuing. Like other AI companies of any size, we have our share of productionization challenges but those are well worth the proprietary and unique insights that multiomic integration provides. We wish you the best in your endeavors.
