My time here was mentally draining. I honestly went home crying almost every day. Some people get lucky and have a great manager and team to guide them, but I did not. There’s only so much you can do when the manager doesn’t guide you and actively wants you to fail. Of course, mistakes will be made, but instead of teaching making it a teaching moment, I felt as though I just got talked down to in an extremely condescending and demeaning manner. And then was gaslit because my managers kept saying I'm not demeaning, you're the problem because you're just too sensitive. That isn't exactly very motivating. I could have done better myself, but when you have a manager who actively wants you to fail, or speaks negatively to their manager who doesn’t even work with you, then it’s hard to succeed in the job. I never really felt like I got to tell my story really... I felt like since day one I set out to fail, and I hated the feeling of constantly walking on eggshells feeling like I would get axed at any moment. Once I was finally let go, it really was a blessing in disguise. I wish I had a manager who wanted me to succeed, not someone who wanted me to fail from the start. HR is pretty much useless and will probably always take your manager’s word over your own.

Unbelievably toxic environment with constant backstabbing. Somebody in tears at least once a day. Nobody will admit that the problem is at the top where the Co owner has favourites and only respects yes people. Spend their time saying what a wonderful place it is to work whilst exploiting employees goodwill and engendering a overall atmosphere of fear
