I heard the prices at the store are good enough for customers. Also there's a variety of things at this store also.

Compared to other grocery stores around the Houston area, Joe V's do take care of their employees well in terms of competitive pay and benefits.

Cons

Lack of growth to higher positions and managers unwillingness to take time to know employees. Also lack of hours.

Pros

The hourly pay is very competitive considering the demographic of the locations. As a Stock Controller the job is management, it becomes easier once you have your team down with the process! Most managers I've met are fair(varies by location) Being a division of H-E-B you get part of Company stock after a yr of employment(must be full time) and you can access the stock after 3yrs. Even if you're no longer employed there. Great 401k plan. Benefits are definitely nice. Also get a $1+ from 12am-6:30am when working overnight

Cons

If your crew isn't a team, your job will be hard. Obviously right? It will always be a dreadfully long night!
