      Will pay $15k a year for grad school

      Cons

      Under John May’s leadership, this company has fallen apart. We watched the whole organization go through a restructuring process, which reduced headcount by thousands. They then ramped up expectations and work load. They never do anything with employee survey results except tell employees to fix their attitude. And have paid no attention to what employees want to see in work schedules post Covid.

      Deere has an amazing history and amazing brand loyalty. Salary and benefits are good. I greatly appreciate that the company has always been very committed to satisfying their customers. The company is doing a great job of advancing to a technology solution provider

      Cons

      Senior leadership is all talk, lots and lots of talk about employee engagement. Their actions over the past three years show why engagement has declined. With one of my core values being integrity, just like the companies, I can no longer recommend the company as a great place to work.

      Employees are exhausted, doing more with significantly less resources No focus on people strategy or culture Employees are scared of retaliation for speaking out
