Pros
Commissioned based you you make what you sell
Cons
Management is sporadically trained. There is not real set training program I spend probably 1 day training but it was stretched over 2 weeks. The first few weeks were great I made some really good paychecks but after the tax season ended the paychecks began to suck. There was no guaranteed outside of your base pay, you received 4% commission on sales as a Co Manager but if its off season it not worth the pay for the responsibility. The majority of the store and co managers are under the age of 23 save a few. They play it to sound like you will get promoted fast in reality you have to wait until someone quits to move up. the only person that make any kind of bonus is the Store Manager no other manager does unless you are a MIT. Ultimately I chose to leave because I was told if my Army Reserve obligation interfered with my job i would lose my position or my job. I felt that i could not continue to work for a company that did not abide by the laws that i fought for on Active Duty that protect all members of the Armed Forces. Also I was told not to let other service members know about the 10% discount they receive for serving the country. I felt that that was uncalled for and the way it was said to me was belittling to me.
