Pros

if you're looking for a fairly relaxed environment then this would be a good first job, you can get promoted quickly just be being able to sell really well, discount is pretty good at 40% off on everything even sale items.

Cons

salary for co-managers suck, like you get to slave away for 6 days a week to make the company like 6-7,000 dollars a week but you get back 4% of everything you sell, your overtime is like $3 or $4 per hours over 40, if you're planning on quitting due to things you can't control such as moving you're better off not putting your two weeks in because as soon as they get that they'll fire you, pretty much they don't care about their employees or managers they care about numbers and their customers and saving their asses when it comes to money. remember if you choose to work at journeys you can and will be replaced at any given time

Pros

The biggest pro is the opportunities this company has to offer. I have always been impressed with the fact that the people that are most successful here are strong and committed to the company. There are so many great people for you to learn from if you only speak up and put forth the effort. My experience has been if you work hard and don't give up when things are tough, you will benefit greatly. I love my life, my job and this company and while its obvious there are some people that feel differently about it, I chose to stay and I am very happy with the results!

Cons

The cons are the things you choose not to accept, I knew what I was getting into and I accepted that long ago. The cons are that you won't get promoted without getting results and you won't get paid a lot of money to do a little work. Success takes patience and there will always be competition. The fact is the cons for this company are the same cons for life, be honest with yourself and be big enough to admit it.
