Not Worth It

Pros

40% off employee discount & flexible schedual. Better if you are in schoolwhile having job.

Cons

Minimum wage. No way of getting a raise unless you get promoted. Manager & Co make very little money & are expected to work 52-60 hours. Depending on how strict they are they will expect a lot of work but don't make it worth it. Discount is also limited if you love shoes it won't last you.

Overworked and Underpayed

Pros

The employee discount is very good at 40% off anything. The dress code is pretty layed back... don't have to hide your tattoos or piercings!

Cons

I was a co-manager and all management gets a small base pay plus 4% commission on personal sales. I would work over 50 hours every week and not have much to show for it (I was top seller). The amount of work we had to do did not match the pay, either. Another con - no manager it allowed a Friday or Saturday off. Part-timers get minimum wage... would be fine but they also only get 5-15 hours per week. Don't get me started on the "6 Selling Steps"... they are ridiculous, don't work, make more work to do after the customer leaves, and is embarrassing most of the time.
