Greatest Job

Pros

This job has been one of the most wonderful jobs I've ever had, I started as a back to school seasonal and ending up being kept on afterwards. The dress code is really laid back and my co workers are the best people I've ever worked with. I originally picked this job up as a second job in addition to already working at Dollarama and ended up quitting there to focus solely on journeys because it's a great company.

Cons

none that i can think of, if you want something bad enough put the work in

Pros

40% off, cool people to work with, cool music, etc. Cool place to work at while in college or high school.

Cons

The company doesnt really cares for its employees. They fire the old employees in order to hire more enthusiast young part timers.

Pros

- Dress code is relaxed - co-workers are pretty cool - great in-store music and media - decent organization of stock

Cons

- Sales goals are unrealistic and force you to be pushy with customers. - Four to the Floor is a cheap excuse to push customers. In quiet times you are forced to bring every customer 4 different shoes even if they only asked for one. This creates awkward customer interactions and wastes employees time. - Nobody wants to buy $14 socks that cost $2.50 to make. - You will only get 3 to 4 hour shifts unless you are a manager meaning that you have very little time to meet goals and do tasks. You will make no money for all your work.
