A fun workplace while you are young

Pros

Commission is 4% of everything you sell, store override is whatever % your DM provides you. Staff is usually fun and helpful. Constant events and contests.

Cons

Pay is never guaranteed and is only good based on where your store is located. Part timers in Wisconsin only get paid 8.25 so its a constant struggle finding and keeping employees. 45 hour work weeks are required no matter what, and getting weekends off is like pulling teeth.

THE PAY SUCKS AND THEY ABSOLUTELY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MANAGEMENT. Especially with the number of hours we we work compared to the commission and base pay offered to us.

Pros

Good culture, fun environment, great discount, perfect for gaining management experience for your resume - great job for young adults still living at home without a bunch of bills

Cons

Not hourly pay, and you’re not compensated for the TON of overtime required, can be very exhausting, 12 hour shifts are frequent, no requests for time off during holidays. OH, and teenagers. If you are an adult living on your own trying to survive, this job will not support you and will negatively impact your mental health
