Pros

KAI is passionate about building the next generation of leaders. KAI’s commitment to career advisement, career equity, and mentorship accelerates the growth and value of our team. KAI welcomes participation in the growth and development of the company as well.

Cons

Choosing and focusing on one or two humanitarian causes is all that is manageable considering the company’s current size. Need all partners to engage and support relief initiatives and efforts.

Pros

Remote environment Decent salary Paid-for trainings

Cons

No budget for equipment for remote workers (most employees are remote), who have to spend their own money on mouses, monitors, etc. Abysmal time off policy Even though clients are government agencies, KAI employees do not get the same holidays off If a holiday such as Christmas or New Years Day falls on a weekend, KAI employees do not get a paid holiday during the week CEO has high standards but is unable to communicate what those are and is not available for support Unclear corporate structure: different managers want different things and there are too many cooks in the kitchen, which stresses out the staff and wastes time and resources--not good for productivity
