Pros

I can't really name any pros besides being able to help the people that are currently "living" there.

Cons

It is very disorganized, I worked over ten hour days and was always asked to work on my days off. If you say no they treat you different. They like to find a person to stick the blame on when something goes wrong. It is never the person in charges fault.

Pros

fast-paced, never boring, lost weight I stayed so busy, time flew.

Cons

No time for anything else, because "off time", you're exhausted, or they're asking you to work overtime. High turnover, because they let new people get burnt out. They interview that it's all about "teamwork". What they really mean is that they expect YOU to do what is asked of you, but not to ask "what can the team also do for me?"

Pros

Every person I have encountered working with Kairos has been outstanding. I have rarely encountered such dedicated, intelligent and personable people. They are very committed to helping these children, I have on many occasions seen staff members go above and beyond what is normally expected, while smiling.

Cons

It is often a thankless job, however these children would be much worse off if they have not been in this program.
