Pros

Great benefits if you're motivated by money.

Cons

They keep people sick in order to make money. A pt needed specialized treatment and they refused to refer to a specialist while also refusing to treat the condition the patient needed. The amount of stories I heard from patients about discrimination, ablism, racism, and flat out gatekeeping of referrals to people who need a specialist is jaw dropping. Doctors will cover for each other and write their notes to reflect good practices while denying patients the specialists they need. Their philosophy is "I'm the expert, I'll tell you what you need". Therapy needs to be collaborative with the patient and based on the needs of the individual; Not unilateral decisions based on a lack of trauma informed care. Top down care doesn't accomplish anything other than to keep people sick, for a true recovery model, we have to start from the root and work our way up.

Pros

Supports remote work but with penalties.

Cons

KP does NOT care about work life balance. There have been times I have worked over 60 hours a week and when I needed to take time off for a family emergency, it was denied. They expect you to do the work of 5 people with the pay of less than one. I have worked here 10 years and instead of getting raises based on my performance which my manager says is exceptional, I get a pay cut. Managers push their work off on their employees. What are they there for? They do not discipline employees that do not do their work, they just push it on the person who does the most work. I'm expected to work over 40 hours a week because I am salary, but told not to report anything over 40. I've had to cancel PTO because of being shorthanded. The IT department is the worst. They don't fix problems, they just ignore it. Most of our applications break daily. But we are scolded if we don't get our work done even if the tools we have are broken.
