      Pros

      Kaplan Test Prep does strive to be innovative and deliver the best product to their students. In my division, competition among companies is fierce and the team in the field is certainly dedicated to winning and doing it the right way - without scare tactics and other shady methods. Upper management is passionate about their jobs and do their best to motivate those beneath them.

      Cons

      Pay is lower when compared to other sales positions both in the same industry and for individuals with the level of education required of sales people in my division. Difficult to get promoted - there is almost nowhere to go once you are in the field at the entry level.

      Pros

      Students, being able to have a part in their experience to become excellent nursesm guide them in their clinical practice.

      Cons

      Not enought support for teachers. More direction in correct paper work.

      Kaplan offers flexibility but few opportunities to move forward; lots of praise, but lateral transitions and no raises.

      -flexibility -smart co-workers -opportunity to be creative -passionate workforce

      Cons

      -below industry standard pay for entry- to mid-level jobs -top-heavy structure: most resources, money, etc. go to those at the upper echelons of the company, and every single decision needs to go through about twenty levels of bureaucratic nonsense before getting watered down enough to actually be allowed to use (ineffectively) -other than Julie Fuoti, it's men at the top and a female-heavy lower- and mid-management structure. That means at the frat-like national and regional meeting, you see a huge amount of drinking, sexual harrassment, and worse. -very little professional development
