Pros

Some team members are great, though NONE on the leadership or management levels. A few colleagues actually like working here, but they have easy jobs with little accountability to leadership.

Cons

OK, here we go... The CEO and CTO co-founders are as evil of bosses I've ever worked for. Details aside, the entire company fears them, no one wants to interact or engage with them, they are mean, condescending, and ruthless with zero sense of caring for people. At Keeper Security, no rules or common human decency apply at the top. Company culture is pure fear, and you must avoid leadership at all costs if you don't want your day (or career) ruined.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'd like to start of by noting that we have an open door policy for reporting any issues with direct or upper management at Keeper, and have not received any reports echoing anything similar to these very serious allegations. Our C level and Upper Management take culture at Keeper very seriously, and someone who has grown with the organization over the past 13 years, I can say that your take of the Keeper experience is clearly not that of the majority. We have so many long tenured employees and even alumni who still reach out after moving on to commiserate about the amazing employee experience that they received at Keeper. That being said, we understand that not all companies are the right fit for all individuals, and that's ok. We are a highly entrepreneurial environment that strives for excellence, for us and our customers, which can not always be the right fit for all types of creatives. We truly believe that our overall review standing and employee tenure speaks for itself. While we don't have anyone in the current position you denoted in that location, if you are a current employee I would highly suggest reaching out to have a conversation as we're always available to hear any suggestions of how we might improve our processes or listen better to our most valuable asset, our people!

Pros

The product is interesting. Users find it useful.

Cons

Benefits basically don't exist. Vacation package is identical to vacation packages offered at most retail jobs. There are no other perks. Dual core i5 desktop workstations from 2013. Management is always in panic mode. Every bug is a show stopper and they frantically attempt to micromanage things when they can't have issues resolved in under an hour. The office is insulting. It was built to give a potential buyer the impression that we're a bigger more valuable company than we actually are. It's a charade and it SUCKS for anyone actually trying to get work done. They pressure new hires to post 5 star reviews on GlassDoor.com CEO actively polices the reviews on this board and puts considerable effort into having critical comments removed.

Pros

The product is pretty decent

Cons

I used to think Keeper was a great place to work up until recently. All of the most recent reviews are very true and you should definitely pay attention to what everyone else is saying. To start, they don't care about their employees even if they pretend to. The insurance benefits are alright but there is no maternity leave or 401k match which is pretty insane considering how long they have been in business. The CEO makes EXTREMELY emotional decisions and it affects all of the employees at Keeper. They will decide they need to hire 50 people for sales to scale quickly and then let them go right after because they don't think things through and don't care about their people.. only themselves. They recently let a bunch of people go and tried to hide it was a layoff to protect the reputation of the company (mind you it was right before the holiday.) They stated it was due to performance without even having a single conversation about poor performance in the past- even a positive 1 on 1 that week about how great things were going. They completely blind sided people that got let go. All of that said, the job security is not where it needs to be. The HR team is commenting on all of these to try to look better but the truth is that they only listen to what the CEO says.

Thank you for your feedback. Any concerns regarding management style or approach should be escalated through the proper internal channels so they can be addressed in a positive, timely and constructive manner. At Keeper, we support our managers and leaders. All concerns will be reviewed objectively and addressed, as appropriate. We regularly review our benefits and total rewards packages to ensure alignment with offerings of comparable companies (industry/size). Our leadership team sets high standards of performance and personal accountability, and sometimes we have to make tough decisions in order to maintain and grow a successful business.
