Pros

Response is fair most of the time for a position I find or they post and contact me. Effort by me to locate a job many times is noted to recuiter who in turn takes credit for position. More agressive search on recuiter needs to improve especially with the existing job market and future markets. It is a temporary position by their definition but, is much more a contract position which is demanding at many job situations. This is blurred for a reason for profit when it comes to Kelly and companies hiring individuals. It must come down to direct or contract with at least support for benefits since the salary are not up to market standards.

Cons

Salary and benifits could be better!

Pros

Kelly Services offers a great team environment and bonuses are based on your region's productivity instead of branch vs. branch, so there isn't a lot of unhealthy inter-office competition. Management recognizes when you've done a good job and doesn't hesitate to tell you. They allow you the space to do your job without a lot of micro-managing. They also have a lot of information available online for additional training opportunities.

Cons

The benefits are not that great. The healthcare coverage is expensive if it's more than just you, the vacation policy is ok. I think the salaries and bonuses are low compared to the work you do.

Pros

Flexibility as a temp with the option to get hired by the company where you're placed. Oftentimes, instead of getting turned down during job applications, you're better off spending time as a temp at a company you'd like to work for because it gives them an opportunity to assess your abilities and fit in the company - provides a platform where I control the reasons for them to hire me.

Cons

If you don't work, you don't get paid. So if you fall sick, you're out of luck.
