Pros

It is managed by Stanford graduates who are well connected in venture capital and oil industries. Majority of the team is young and eager to learn

Cons

Two members of the senior staff have serious mental health issues including violent temper that create a hostile work environment The product and platform are oversold to oil majors and not in a state ready for robust and scalable customer deployment Divisive work politics with old guard from five years ago in a different category compared to more recent employees Team is not motivated to work in the shale oil business Lacking cohesive team spirit or company loyalty with people joining and leaving every few months

Pros

Flexible hours as long as your work gets done. CTO is an amazing person to work with, however if you don't work with him or on the Design team it is an unnecessarily stressful environment.

Cons

There is severe disconnect between sales and those that deliver the product to the customer. Sales doesn't come from high tech, is inexperienced with technology, and thus often sets crazy deadlines that push everyone to work crazy hours. The CEO will argue circles around you and is never wrong, so don't bother. Great talker, terrible listener. This makes it difficult to share ideas and grow as a company. Regular explosions of rage from a certain top manager both in the office and on vid calls. It has been witnessed by all, and his tantrums are tolerated/ignored as there is a close relationship between he and the CEO. I see others have reviewed to the same effect. Information is used like a weapon at Kelvin and there is a severe lack of transparency about client dealings or financials. They struggle to establish process as they lack in management skills.
