Pros

I enjoy starting each day with prayer/devotions by department. I appreciate the time my supervisor has taken to develop me for my entry level role. Our onsite restaurant and coffee bar are stellar perks (Sarah remembers your order and will make things not on the menu).

Cons

The atmosphere can be pressure because we are a fast-paced company; it mostly depends on your department leadership. The increases in pay are not large but there is a formula so it is fair. My biggest dislike is that co-workers, supervisors, and leadership are very often on edge and strongly reject if you check on them on a personal level.

Pros

Faith Faith Faith...the spiritual benefits received can in no way compare to the standard employee relations benefits. Daily prayer and chapel time, ability to give and receive vacation time (great for missions trips, ministry opportunities).

Cons

Promotions within the department are limited and no credit toward SSI for time worked there. Schedules change every month but you at least know what it will be.

Pros

There is a daycare on site, as well as an coffee bar. The employees are nice to work with and bosses are understanding if need take time off.

Cons

The pay is extremely low, even compared for other nonprofit ministries. Raises are always on "freeze" and when get a raise its few cents.
