Pros

Was part of J&J prior to the split

Cons

Start-up which means senior leadership thinks they know best and none have ever worked for a start-up and don’t want to listen or hear from those with experience. Overly promoted people coming from J&J and these individuals cannot lead or come up with a strategy to help advance the organization. Too many egos leading this organization and operating in a danger zone because of their pride. This will bring down the company. Turnover is ticking up as many people are leaving due to lack of opportunities to grow. Lack of diversity and all they talk about is how important diversity is. Sad, sad, sad. They don’t believe in diversity, but measure us on it because it’s what investors want to see and hear. Lack of courage tell senior leadership real issues and what’s not working. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!!!!

Pros

Solid brands, ok pay, good work life balance (sometimes)

Cons

Since the spin off, culture has taken a massive hit. Leadership has made unpopular decisions, seemingly without seeking input from team leaders, much less lower level employees. The move to Summit has been handled so poorly. Leadership showed a completely lack of respect for the LA office, despite the toils they have been through over the past few years. We have proven out that remote/hybrid works, and yet leadership is behind on the times and forcing relocations.

Pros

The people have historically been such a strong part of what made the company great to work for when it was part of Johnson & Johnson, but since the spin off, I anticipate many of those great people (myself included) to leave or be forced to leave through layoffs and constant restructures which is currently becoming the norm.

Cons

Have had 3+ restructures in under a year since separation from Johnson & Johnson. Where the company previously was powered by it's credo, focused on the nurses, patients, and employees before shareholders, it is now explicitly a profit focused company, with all of its former self lost. Leadership creates a lot of swirl and unorganization for the company that makes it hard to deliver goals and do your job. Workload is unreasonably high as people have left, roles have been eliminated through reorgs, and very few are backfilled. No flexibility for working location when their office is currently and has been based in a completely inaccessible and inconvenient location.
